There are different ways to express love. Some may find it hard to figure out what their partner wants or come up with something different to set up the perfect date. However, for every problem there is a solution. What can be done?

You can just love right from the heart and allow the thrill to please your loved one flow naturally to create special moments throughout this ying-yang collaboration. Love is the most important element in life and it needs care and nourishment such as regular dates, compliments, family traditions and rituals. If you feel somewhat stuck about how to create these special moments, our Date Menu will help you through with this and more! We have already thought of everything for those who want to cultivate their relationship. All you need to do is choose your “date” from the menu which best suits your needs.

Afer all, love begins in the heart and you can literally live through that at our café, celebrating not only the start of love but also nourishing the flow of energy within and through this space. A space where you can focus on what truly matters - love, happiness, playfulness and tenderness, despite the hustle and bustle of modern life. We absorb gigabytes of information every day, we work hard, we achieve, and we go on.

Perhaps it is a cliché (but maybe also true) that people do not always have time to think about how to organize something unusual for their partner, even if they want to. So what we’ve created, is a solution for people to be able to regularly invest in their feelings, and simply pick a pre-organised date (or ask us to create a custom date for you!). Currently we have 7 dates on the menu, to cater for your taste. One example is a beautiful dinner whilst going around the Grand Harbour on a traditional Maltese boat. The menu, will be actively replenished for the summer season. There are already amazing projects for the near future! This is where you can pick a date. Our motto is to “be on a date with life!”

Food is said to pave the way to someone's heart, which can be exciting or equally intimidating for anyone who isn't so good at the kitchen. What would you suggest?

If you want to enjoy a tasty meal with your partner but you can’t cook, we provide the ideal spot. You can eat at Date Art Café, but right now we’re creating a “date box” which includes food and drink that you can order to take on your date – for example a romantic picnic!

Speaking of the connection between the stomach and the heart – No kidding, there are certain products that affect our desire. For example Turmeric, Cilantro, Anise, Cardamom, Nuts and other organic natural substances have an aphrodisiac effect – and we actively use them in our menu at Date Art Cafe.

Besides loving a person, there are other aspects of life to fall in love with - coffee, food, music, movies, art - and all the elements that feed the soul. Are there any activities planned for those who are in love with life?

Dates with Art

Well, we are an art café, so yes, without fail! Firstly, we created a small art gallery on our top floor, and we host regular exhibitions of paintings and photographs, to inspire our clients and bring people closer to new ideas We are open to all artists. In addition, there is also a social side to it. That is, we give the opportunity to exhibit art – Not only for professional artists, but also just talented people. For example, right now we have an exhibition from an artist from Poland called Aga Jay. And very soon we are opening an exhibition of 15-year-old Sam and his digital art. So we invite you to visit us for regular Dates with Art – with new art every month.

Date with Home

Now we are also launching the "date with home" project for various communities. We have a very international team ranging from Malta, Russia, Serbia, Poland and Ukraine. We know what it means to miss the taste of home food, or the experience of speaking your native language and listening to the music you grew up with. A “date with home” is a project aimed at bringing people together so that people who live in Malta have the opportunity to communicate and maintain their traditions.

Date with Community

Roots matter. For example, one of the upcoming events is a party for the Indian community. This is a “masala chai master class”. There will be an interactive dance at the beginning of the event, and of course, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a dish of their cuisine on this day. Every community has a leader who organizes their group based on needs of the particular community. An evening of live music in your native language, some kind of master class, or just networking.

We are generally open to any community (communities of interest, meetup groups etc.) We have a beautiful room upstairs with a private entrance and amazing views accommodating 25 - 30 people, to stay on a date with people with similar interests. Now is the time to come together and support each other!

Beyond regular events, we have a huge number of different events planned - concerts, poetic and musical meetup parties, masterclasses, networking meetings and women's circles, etc.
